While you were missing Phoebe Dynevor’s presence in the newest Bridgerton episodes, our girl has been booked and busy! She’s currently gearing up to play January Andrews in the adaptation of Emily Henry’s Beach Read alongside Patrick Schwarzenegger…and she’s also in her bridal era. The actor first debuted her ring on the 2024 Met Gala red carpet, and if this comes as a surprise to you because (a) you had no idea she was dating someone and (b) you live in a fantasy land where she is married to the Duke of Hastings, it’s clearly time to get to know Cameron Fuller.
Here is a brief-but-essential society paper dispatch on all the details regarding Phoebe’s paramour. For, if anyone shall reveal the circumstances of this match, it is I. (’Kay, I promise I’ll stop now.)
But before we start, a moment for this engagement ring debut!
Cameron and Phoebe met at Sundance in January 2023
During a recent appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, Phoebe finally revealed how she and Cameron first met.
“We met at—I don’t think I’ve ever said this publicly before—we met at Sundance Film Festival,” Phoebe shared. “I did a film called Fair Play, and, I went to Sundance, and it was a big high in my career—it was like one of the first movies I’d done, and it was getting all this hype—so I was in my…you know, feeling good, and there he was.”
Apparently, Cameron ended up approaching her at Tao. As she joked to Drew, “You can meet someone at a club.”
They Went Public in April 2023
Rumors about Phoebe and Cameron went into overdrive when they were spotted looking cozy on a London stroll.
But honestly, they've hardly been keeping their relationship a secret! Like, here they are at the BAFTAs:
And here they are taking in Wimbledon:
Like Phoebe, Cameron is an Actor
According to Cameron's IMDb, he's been on The Last Ship, Insecure, and The Goldbergs to name a few. But recently, it seems he’s made a pivot to producing.
Cameron actually told Very Good Light that “when I first wanted to become an actor, my dad was very conflicted. He sits down with actors all the the time and he’ll watch tapes for hours on end. He was once like, ‘I promise you, you don’t want to be an actor, it’s not an easy life if you don’t want to do it.’ And then when I started working harder at it, he became more accepting, and now he’s very onboard with it, which is awesome. He’s also really supportive of all the other things I’m doing now.”
He also noted, “I work hard at acting, but growing up, I’ve seen many actors fail just being around my father. I’ve seen so many actors be at the top of their game and fall to never recover. I don’t want that to happen to me, so i’m trying to ensure that I’ll be okay if acting doesn’t blow up.”
(P.S. I'll get to Cameron's dad in a minute.)
And He's a (Former?) YouTuber
If you're a fan of Gregg Sulkin, Cameron should be pretty familiar—he and Gregg have a channel together! Or, had. Tragically all the videos on their page have been deleted, but this was the general vibe:
“I️ never envisioned myself being someone with any kind of influence,” Cameron said in an old interview with Penguin. “But over time, I️ realized how powerful it can be and how much of a positive impact you can have on peoples lives. It’s truly special. If you’re able to use your voice to make others happy and help others with their lives, there is no greater feeling. That’s why I’ve built myself up to a place to reach those people.”
Cameron Previously Dated Lucy Hale
At least, they were spotted on what appeared to be a date together back in 2022.
His Dad Is a Horror Producer
Cameron's dad is Brad Fuller, a producer who is known for some pretty major horror films including A Nightmare on Elm Street, A Quiet Place, The Purge films, and remakes of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and The Amityville Horror.
As previously mentioned, Cameron has also gotten into producing and works at Platinum Dunes. Honestly, Cameron's done a lot with his career already considering he only graduated from USC in 2017!
Cameron's also friends with Joey King, which...doesn't really need its own special section, so just plopping it here.
Welp. Seems like a great guy. Congrats to Cameron and the Diamond of the Season!
